1982 Subaru DL review from North America
"A great little old reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
One of the fuses blew at 90,000 mls, replaced it but it keeps blowing constantly. I have spent a total of $750 so far because of this.
All door seals are worn and water leaks in the car when it rains unless I park it in the shed.
Temp gauge don't work so the only way I will know when it over heats is when I see smoke but so far it never did that.
Gas door broke at 100,000 mls.
Transmission started leaking but replaced the transmission and now it does not leak but it shifts weird.
General comments?
This is my first car and its great. Most of the time its reliable, fuel efficient, the interior is in excellent condition with very clean seats and its roomy and its comfortable.
Its not that fast but fast enough. This little station wagon makes it feel like your driving about 15mph faster than what your really driving.
