General comments?

I always did the routine maintenance. All these problems are ontop of the usual replace the brakes, belts, clutch, muffler, etc...

I did oil changes every 3,000 miles.

I have spent more on repairs than the original cost of the car. Every time, I thought we'd finally corrected the problem, but they just kept coming and coming.

I have a few questions and maybe someone can answer them for me. I am wanting to know why my undercarriage sounds like it's "rattling" all the time. I don't know if it's the heat shield or what.

Another question, I have a 98 Subaru Forster and I wanted to know if the automatic transmission had Overdrive on it?

Please, some answers would be nice. Thanks!
