2000 Subaru Forester S review from North America
"Disappointing"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission went at 58,000 miles.
Head gasket is leaking coolant at 60,000 miles.
General comments?
The Forester has a good feel, drives well and we like it a lot; however was very disappointed in the performance the last year with the transmission having to be rebuilt and the Head Gasket leaking coolant.

| A fun, nice-sized SUV/wagon I want to love, but its needs for dealer attention make that tough. |
| I'd still buy another Subaru Forester; the last 40,000 miles have been problem free |
