2001 Subaru Forester LX review from North America
"I have never been happier with a car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I replaced the transmission at 200000km.
I replaced the brakes at 50000km and again at 125000km.
Head gasket is now leaking.
Rear window washer hose leaks.
Rear door (hatch) lock has failed.
General comments?
Only real complaint is passenger leg room in rear.
I am trying to keep it on the road until 300000km.
I love the way it tows a utility trailer.
Great handling on cottage dirt roads.
