2001 Subaru Forester L review from North America
"Constantly Impressing Us"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Expansion valve in Air conditioner is bad - getting replaced though.
General comments?
My husband and I bought our car over a year and half ago. We had to replace the tires at around 25K miles, but everyone else I know with a newer car has had to do the same... no matter who the manufacturer. I beat most (if not all) other 4 cylinders off the line. The gas mileage continues to get better! We did not buy the car with the intent of off-roading, but we have become hooked. Big 4x4's look at us in amazement and confusion as they thought they were the only ones to get to certain places. I can haul ANYTHING! I don't have to take my husband's Huge truck now! My husband just recently changed my brake pads and was amazed at how easy it is to work on my car. He is looking forward to working on it now!
Dealer service not the best, but not the worst.
