1988 Subaru GL Station Wagon AWD review from North America
"Great dependable fast offroad wagon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Usual stuff for a 19 year old car.
Head gasket got replaced.
Leaked antifreeze and oil.
Rear window sometimes don't work from the driver buttons.
Hatchback doesn't stay up on its own.
Tail pipe looks like it needs replaced.
suspension and brakes got replaced, along with front axle and turbo.
General comments?
Starts up everytime.
Great suspension.
Turbo kicks in at around 4000 rpm and hauls ass.
4wd is unbelievable.
Handles great on ice, if you know how to drive manual real good like me on ice.
Great offroad ability; the car has great ground clearance.
Plenty of room for anything.
