Some problems occured that were very hard to track down after the car was repaired, the talents of a motorsport mechanic specialising in WRC Imprezas (Ian Bishop) was required. But as routine the car has been faultless.
Zenon Headlamp bulbs as are good idea even in 1999 cars, PZEROs are £150 a corner, 20mpg as a general rule.
I was just trying to purchase this exact model, but unfortunately could not stretch my bank balance far enough. These models are still holding their value really well and was voted by EVO magazine as the best Impreza yet!
Instead I have just purchased a Impreza Turbo MY99, which is what the RB5 Prodrive pack is based on.
My question is how does the Prodrive engine upgrade pack compare over the standard model? This is the first time I have owned a turbo car and find it has very little power or torque below 3500RPM until the turbo kicks in and heard the Prodrive upgrade improves this? Your comments would be appreciated?
