I've just had a test drive in the all-new 2001 Impreza GX. WOW!!
I've been driving an Impreza for the last 5 years, but the new model beats the pants off the old one!
Superb comfort and excellent interior design, tighter engine with a smoother and quieter ride, redesigned body with wicked new headlights.
Nah. New one's a lardy junior exec company car park drag racer.
The old Impreza was a road racer.
WRX = Fast, but fat, ugly and aspirational.
Yuk.
Just a short comment as an owner of a 2002 GX the person who said it's a lardy car park racer ought to try and take it on the road and race BMW's 325i because I have and beat it without any effort and that was when I was running it in that means not over 4000 revs so as for lardy car park racer don't underestimate the GX just go and sell your nova and get a real car.
The GX is superb in every way the only thing is the bug eye lights, but they are being changed on my car for a morette twin conversion.
