1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport review from North America
"The best car in the world for the adventurer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced spark plugs - the dealer said the wrong type had been installed (before I bought it, evidently). Weird, but easy and cheap to fix.
General comments?
Totally reliable. I love this car - it is absolutely fun to drive. Corners are more fun than I ever knew they could be :)
It handles like a dream, and is great off-road and in the snow. I'll never be without AWD again. It's actually hard to get the rear end to slide out, even when you're doing donuts in the snow.
While the interior isn't luxurious, the seats remain comfortable even on 10+ hour drives.
Lots of interior space - great for people into outdoor activities who have lots of gear.
