1997 Subaru Impreza 2000 AWD review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gear Box - Totally sheared the teeth off 3rd gear.
Fitted MARSHALL Tyres as Falkens are like gold dust to get hold of, and the damn thing aqua planed, nose first into a ditch at 35MPH. Only thing broken - my 30.00ukp clear perspex spot light covers. Best 30.00ukp I ever spent.
General comments?
Spot light covers available from dealerships.
Modifications to the car :-
Mongoose exhaust system - straight thru - no cats.
Engine chip, K&N air filter.
Pushing about 275BHP 0-60 in well under 5 secs.
Quad headlights.
Cat 1 Alarm & Immobiliser from Toad.
Gold speedline 7 spoke alloys.
On board boost gauge and adjuster, so on a long motorway run it's just like a normal 2 litre.
Best thing, corners better than a TVR Cerbera.
