1995 Subaru Impreza L review from North America
"Most reliable car I've ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head Gasket needed replaced at 140,000
though my driving it hard and high speeds and high rpm shifts probably didn't help.
General comments?
Well, I definitely have gotten my money out of this car, I'm a young guy and have been really hard on it, but it is just plain bullet-proof. It handles well, I love my AWD! Starts right up for me, and gets good gas mileage for being full time AWD. 24-29mpg. Its got a little pep in it too, even though I bought the 1.8 liter base model, its still pretty peppy. Get the 2.2 or the 2.5 if you can find it.
