1996 Subaru Impreza wrx STi v2 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Mechanicals are a problem, but power is not"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Blew clutch up at 73000.
Replaced gearbox 3 times in 6000 kms.
Motor snapped valves at 103200 got motor reconditoned $4900.
New motor melted piston at 103900.
General comments?
I have don't have any problems with the cars acceleration or handling as it feels like a jet taking off and handles like sh*t on a blanket.
Quicker and handles better than a evo 2, 3, and a 5 as proven in my town.
