P1's are fantastic. I raced a 57 plate RS4; he had no chance...
Not bad for a W reg.
I have owned my P1 for 3 years now. Always serviced at Subaru. Drove it up to Subaru dealership... won't say which one... it was going fine, dropped it off weeks for the 60,000 mile service which includes cam belts. They have blown it up! Won't admit they have!! I'm off to see a solicitor tomorrow!
Anyone got any ideas?
Sounds like the engine has went, a common problem with these cars as most of them had weak bottom ends when they were produced which is ridiculous. ££££s to sort so good luck with your case.

Can anyone help me here, I own an Impreza P1, but am trying to find what model number it is. Any ideas?
Some come with the number next to the gear knob, but doesn't seem to be the case with mine.
Hi there. If you look under your bonnet on the right hand side, there's a silver plate under where it says stage 2. It's your number of your car. Hope this helps.

I've owned my P1 for over three years now, and like many others have waited a very long time for the right one to come along. All I can say is "It was worth the wait!". There are only two other Imprezas I would consider - the 22B or RB320. If truth be told, I just couldn't sell my precious P1. From outright acceleration, top speed (limited 155mph), through to aggressive looks - move over Mr. BMW the P1 is coming through!
Don't give up looking people... Enjoy!
Had my P1 for 18 months now. Currently in for a bottom end rebuild due to oil pump. Can't wait to get it back. Even with little mods, it has 320 horses and 303 torques, and will blow the doors off anything I've ever come across at the lights.
Definitely the most fun you can have on four wheels and with your clothes on.
