1992 Subaru Legacy L AWD Wagon review from North America
"Reliable, economy, spacious"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both the front CV boots went broken at around 120,000 miles. And now the 3rd one.
Some alignment problem in the rear wheel after 130,000.
Nothing else major went wrong in my 8 years of ownership.
General comments?
This car is extremely reliable and cost very little to maintain.
Internal space is quite good, especially for cargo.
Handling is not too bad for a family wagon. Acceleration is weak compared to newer cars, but still OK for a 1992 mid-size.
Gas mileage is great for a 1992 AWD wagon, about 22/28 in real life.
