1995 Subaru Legacy L Wagon AWD review from North America

When I first bought the car, there were some minor tears in the driver's seat, but that is to be expected of a car this old.

Just yesterday part of the muffler went, but that too is no surprise see as it's the original muffler, and the car is over 14 years old.

There are some pretty bad rust spots on the rear wheels wells and on the driver's door, but this car has lived it whole live in Pennsylvania, so it really comes as no surprise either.

When I bought the car, the previous owner told me that her father had put a rebuilt engine in the car, and it only had 60,000 miles on it.

The car handles like a dream. The suspension is very stiff around turns, but when you go over a bump or pot hole, you can barely feel it. The car is is pretty quick for having a small engine, and on top of that, it's unbelievably great on gas. I get about 26 MPG combined city/highway, and I've heard that if you use seafoam to clean out the engine, I've heard that it's possible to get well over 30 mpg while boosting your engine's power.

The car has an incredible amount of room, and the fold flat seats are such a nice feature.

This car is the easiest to work on out of any that I've ever been under. Changing the oil is a snap, and parts for this car are very inexpensive.

Just an all around great car that is really inexpensive to buy, insure, and repair.
