1998 Subaru Legacy GT Limited review from North America
"Great car it will spoil you"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes seem to need replacing every 15000 miles.
General comments?
OK, lets start my saying I am a Canadian living in a house right at the continental divide in the mountains of North Carolina and when it snows up here it stays until the sun melts it. We get a lot of Frizzle (freezing drizzle). Having said that I do not know why anyone would buy any car, but a Subaru. I have 80,000 on my 1998 with no problems other than a short brake pad life which is probably more about my driving than the car. This car is fun to drive around the mountain roads and will still be on the road when 4X4's are off the road. I liked that car so much that I got my wife a 2002 version which she loves.
