1993 Subaru Loyale review from North America
"Good AWD car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission dropped out
Replaced heads
replaced head gaskets.
General comments?
When I first bought this car, it needed a lot of work.
The mechanics were kind enough to replace both heads, head gaskets, and the cylinder head for free. These problems were only due to the previous owner's abuse of the car.
Low top end speed, with 3 gears in its automatic transmission.
Great traction, Good little off road machine.
Plenty of cargo space for whatever you need to carry.
A little low on the gas mileage.
Great suspension, handled nicely.
