1991 Subaru Loyale review from North America
"Ugly and slow, but durable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to replace the struts at 230,000 miles
Had to get a new back axle at 360,000.
General comments?
Wow, what can I say. I bought this car brand new in 91, and have since put 381,000 miles on it, and only 2 major problems so far. It's not a pretty car, It's not a fast car, but it has got me around for the last 15 years with almost no problems untill the last few years. Because of my loyale, I decided to get another subaru 2 years ago, an outback RS. My son is driving the loyale now and he has been beating the crap outta it, but it has been holding well.
