1994 Subaru SVX L review from North America
"This car should be in the Impreza's place!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The timing belt, cam seals, and PVC hoses had to be replaced when I took it to a shop shortly after purchase.
The transmission failed at 138646 miles.
Battery, then alternator, and finally starter have been replaced along with front tires.
Needs a new paint job, and an external cooler for the transmission.
General comments?
I recently wrote a comment towards the LSi owner who dissed the SVX (the really long one.) I basically said everything about my SVX, but I have a little more.
Yes, this car is a hassle when it comes to repairs, but if you research the car, keep up maintenance, and have patience, this is a great car to have. Check out cardomain.com ; svx-iw.com ; carfax.com ; just search and you will know your car so good that you'll almost know exactly what it wrong.
Sensitivity Variance eXpenses!! Subaru SVX!!
