2009 Suzuki Jimny Executive (JLX+) review from Netherlands
"The only real replacement for the original Jeep"

General comments?
Ordered one yesterday after my vacation to Greece where I rented one for a week.
My daughter was in love with this car, especially the looks, high seating position and excellent view on the surroundings.
Had previous experiences with a Samurai, but this car is much more comfortable and very stylish.
Unfortunately the possibilities for off road driving in my country are very limited, but we have a very active club which arranges off road weekends.
I drive a lot around town, so I ordered mine with the automatic transmission, hope it's a good transmission because I couldn't test drive it.
Comments from owners with this transmission would be very welcome.
The Executive version (think it's equal to the the JLX+ version) offers all the luxury I need and looks cool with the nice alloy wheels.
Of course it's not very well suited for highways, and the safety level is very basic with only two airbags, but it's so much fun to drive..
