What things have gone wrong with the car?

Inner rubber on both doors stick and have to really pull to open them other than that nothing really.

General comments?

I just bought a 1991 swift GTI and for a 1.3 it is rapids, but does anyone find that their swift CUTS OUT at about 7 to 8000rpm or is it just mine??

I always read that swifts are brilliant on juice, but again mine seem to do 23 to 30 miles to £5 and that's when I'm NOT pressing it, but it doess have full ex/sys and k&n. its just weird coz my brothers Clio RSi does 48 miles to a £5!. does anyone find the same things with their car???

The Swift GTi will rev to 7500 RPM only. This is the cars factory fitted computer limiting the revs to reduce the risk of blowing the engine up. Easily solved by getting it chipped, this will also add around 15bhp to overall performance.

As for fuel economy, try looking at the fuel filter, mine was leaking and it cut 50 miles for £5, down to 30 or less.

Filter is located next to the rear passenger wheel.
