1990 Suzuki Vitara JLX review from Panama
"The best off-roading/ daily-city-use machine on the market"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problem with my car is the transmission (but I really explode all it's potential), Right know it's having the second overhaul since I own this car. But the transmission overhaul kit for this car is very cheap! only 88.00 US Dollars here in Panamá. Nothing else needing major reparations never ever fails. iF ITS NOT TUNED WELL, IT WILL BE A GAS TROGLODYTE, so care for your engine and it'll care for you.
General comments?
I'm always on the road on almost every weekend looking for offroad trails, this car will never leave you alone in the roadside.
Tha car is very reliable since theres a lot of parts (OEM and aftermaket performance parts) for this vehicle cause its wolrdwide popular. the engine is very easy to performance tune, it has great torque on low revolutions. And in the highway it can take very easy at 100 -130 km/h with no problem, but with a litle bumpy ride. On my vitara I'have a safari snorkel and a 4 1/2 lift kit with 32X9.5X15 wheels, and a Thorley Header, It just looks and sounds great.
