2001 Tata Safari ex review from Malta
"Bring the wildlife in the city with a Tata Safari"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fog lamp fuse blew up.
Rear wiper washer did not work.
General comments?
The safari is probably the most value for money you can buy, i mean you have everything you want in a vehicle from AC, electric windows and mirrors, shift on the fly 4w4 and ABS. Its good looking, lots of space and very comfortable to drive.
The vechile handles well when in difficult and bumby raods (in malta you are always offroading).Although its heavy for the engine it has its not that slow, but it wouldn't hurt if Tata do a bigger engine in the future.
The Safari is definitely a good competitor against its rivals and now Tata even about to release the Safari EX2 which is suppose to have a mercedes engine so that should be a good improvement.
