For anyone who is thinking about getting the TRD supercharger, I would recommend it! For $2900 more, a V6 4-Runner with already good performance can give you GREAT performance... enough to beat that Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 at the green light!
Otherwise, this is a great SUV... but it could use just a little more room inside and the supercharger reduced gas mileage even more!
If you do decide to get the TRD supercharger, make sure to modify the transmission valve body (for firmer shifting) because it is designed for luxury shifts and the new power will burn the transmission up unless you drive it like a grandma. Save yourself a rebuild and do the modification.
There are also some other modifications which may help if you experience pinging (these include a larger fuel pump and larger fuel injectors). The valve body is a must do though!!!
