1988 Toyota 4Runner review from North America
"Great car, lots of fun, 188k and still just breaking it in!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter had to be replaced because it was shot and rebuilt. It was cheaper to replace it than it was to rebuild it again. Some small things have also gone wrong like some of the guages do not work anymore.
General comments?
I love this car! I have owned it for 3 weeks and bought it with 187000 miles on it and immediately took it off-roading. It is an absolutly stock engine and nothing went wrong. It handled great and I was undoubtedly impressed how it handled what I threw at it. Great truck! p.s. I love this removable top model!
