1995 Toyota 4Runner SR review from North America
"A reliable truck that holds its value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning.
Brakes.
Tires.
Clutch
Cassette deck.
Gas tank door.
ignition.
General comments?
This has been a great truck.
I use the 4x4 feature seasonally and it has never let me down.
It pops out of first gear unless I hold onto the shifter, it has done this since I've had the car
When the ignition gave out ($365 repair) I had it flat bedded to the shop.
I've abused this car, and it still runs great and gets about 20mpg on the highway.
Repair costs average me $1200 per year. That's bringing it to the shop 2/3 times a year. I've had other cars that needed repairs every two to three months.
A good car that I should take better care of.
