1995 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 review from North America
"Reliable, dependable, very durable. Buy it if you want it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- The battery.
- Head gasket blew at 156 000 miles, then I replaced it with a newer motor (runs strong again).
- Slow automatic changing gears from 2nd to 3rd.
- Used a lot of RPM before shifting, making the gas consumption poor.
- Must be the auto tranny just getting old.
- Otherwise everything is in good working order.
- Strong reliable SUV.
General comments?
- Other than the slow acceleration during high speeds and not very roomy inside... this 4x4 SUV is awesome.
- Very reliable and dependable!
- With the right regular maintenance, this truck can last for a LONG time!! It is a Toyota truck after all.
- Durable 4x4 and very well built!!!
- For all those people that love to bring their SUVs outdoor, then I recommend getting a 4runner.
- With hundreds of aftermarket parts and accessories for this SUV, it is a fun vehicle to be a project.
- Resale value is excellent compare to other 4x4 SUVs.
- TOYOTA well BUILT "4RUNNER"
