Exhaust fell off while off-roading.
For a little 4 cylinder this thing can fly, had it up to 110 (on the speedometer, probably faster, on a legal track) with no noises, shaking etc.
CAN'T GET STUCK!!!
Amazing how this thing can smoke its tires for 3 blocks (on private road).
I can almost understand the 110mph but no way does it smoke any tires (bald etc) for three blocks.
I own a 87 4Runner, it runs good and it always starts, But there is no possible way that it will ever burn tires for three blocks. I can burn out around corners and when I am really trying.
I can get up and going pretty fast if I am going down hill only, other than that it is pretty slow. I have only topped out at 105 and that was down hill. it's a good little truck and all of the fixtures still work.
I bought new rotors and breaks for mine, but can't get the old one off. Does anyone know how?
It's probably just seized on there with a little bit of rust. If you've got a new rotor to put on there, then it doesn't matter if you break the old one. Give it a good whack with a mallet or hit it with a blow torch. Just be careful you don't give it too much heat, you don't wanna fry the wheel bearing.
