1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5V6 review from North America
"Excellent truck, lousy customer service"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This truck eats tires! Heel & toe/uneven tire wear! It is probably due to the standard wheels (16x7) being too narrow for the width of the tire (265/70R16). Dealership service manager is an incompetent, and Toyota Canada Customer Service is anything but. They claim that it's all within spec, yet the truck will dance dangerously at highway speeds and I'll have gone through 2 different sets of tires in 2 years or 40000kms!!!
General comments?
Other than the tire situation, I love this truck.
