Nothing yet. Had a transfer case leak, left e-brake cable had seized, needed new inner tie rod end prior to purchase. Dealer repaired.
So far, I am very happy with my truck. I was just wondering if anyone has noticed that the breaking is "soft". My mechanic said it could be something as simple as air in the brake lines. Is this typical for this vehicle?
Otherwise, I am totally happy with this truck. This the first SUV I have owned and I find it handles very well for its size (I have driven many others: nissan x-terra, land rover discovery, jeep tj, nissan pathfinder). Can't wait to try it off-road.
I purchased a 1999 Toyota 4-Runner, Limited, over a year ago. I noticed the brakes to be light to the touch, and took it in to find that there may be air in the lines. Since then the truck has ran well, except for when its cold out, and I first start it, I get a wineing noise, which they replaced the timing belt, but a year later, during the next cold spell, I'm getting the same noise back again. Anyone have any other suggestions.
