I bought an Altis 1.8G 2nd hand car year 2007 from a 2nd hand car dealer last week. The driver seat car roof rubber flew away when I drove on a highway at 130 km/hr. Then I also discovered that the passenger seat car roof rubber has deformed with 2 ends tilted up. The silver chrome edge trim for rear windscreed has peeled off. I approached Toyota Service Centre at Tampoi JB. They refuse to change for me as they mentioned to me that I am a 2nd car owner. What a bad experience with Toyota. 2nd owner is not human, they don't entertain 2nd owner. 3 years warranty does not apply to 2nd owner.
The warranty is transferable! If they said you cannot, you should call Toyota HQ and complain.
