1988 Toyota Camry LX review from North America

It might sound like I am putting the car down. But, when I first bought this car in 2001 for 2000.00 dollars I thought I had been ripped off. It was a one owner and had low miles. I thought that this car was a steal. However, after just a few weeks everything on this car started to fail. EVERYTHING! I started with the oil leaks in the spark plugs. Moved to the clutch, then the transmission. The transmission hurt! Shortly there after went to the shocks, struts, joints, stabilization bar in the rear. Then I ran into a problem with a rough idol that led to new fuel everything.

This might sound like a nightmare and for a while it was, but now that the car has been completely rebuilt I can honestly say that this is the most reliable and fun car I have driven. I have owned very expensive cars and although they were nice, at the end of the month when the bill came I never really felt the cars were worth the cost. And I have to say that they really don't compare to the overall benefits of a car that cost me 36 dollars a month in insurance and can still hit 100 mph with no problem. I love taking my friends that gave me such hell for buying what they called a piece of sh** for a ride in my car. They always get out with this look on there face that says " Why am I paying 800 dollars a month for my car?" I love that look!
