1985 Toyota Camry LE review from North America
"A great econo box for around town"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The shocks are soft and the car could use a tighter suspension.
General comments?
I bought this old car for my son. It drives really soft and comfortable. The brakes are OK. It leans on corners if you go to fast, but who needs to speed. It is very reliable and gets great gas mileage. I actually love the car and it seems to be well constructed. The interior is a beautiful crush velvet blue that still looks new, the radio is original and works great, the AC works well, the heather works well, it could use a stronger blower. All in all this is a great car for a town car, it is smaller than most cars of today and if you don't try to race it I'm sure it will give anybody lots of years of service. I have had it on the highway & it tracks nicely. I recommend it. also the engine does not burn any oil.
