2004 Toyota Camry G review from Philippines
"The Toyota Camry is a poor man's Mercedes Benz S-Class"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We just experienced problems with this car November last year when the right rear window just didn't want to go up.
The lock of the rear right door doesn't work, so I have to open the door from the front right.
General comments?
This has been with us for five years, and we only experienced the problems mentioned above just last November.
For the rear right window to be fixed, we had to wait, but the fix was done right away and we paid a reasonable price for it.
I like this car because it doesn't look old and boring, unlike our 10 year old Mitsubishi Galant, which is faster to drive, but not nice to bring to nice places and special occasions.
What I like most about this car is its aircon. It's very cold and a big relief after all the walking under the sun or after going to places where aircon is not working. I also like its sweet smell of leather.
I hope that in the near future we will be able to get the latest model of the Camry. It's a very nice car and the ride is like a Mercedes or a BMW. The 3.5Q is the best, but we can only afford the 2.4V one, besides, the 3.5Q is not appropriate for Philippine roads and only American and European roads. I'm really praying hard for it.
But overall I love this car, and we'll always go for a Toyota.
