1994 Toyota Camry LE Wagon review from North America
"Stay away! Shoddy Toyota junk!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Speedometer doesn't work (shows 40 when car is traveling 20).
Engine died at approximately 131,000 miles.
Power door locks do not work.
Cassette player does not work.
General comments?
An example of shoddy work from a Japanese manufacturer.
A broken speedometer, the engine dead at 131,000 miles, very cramped in the back, bucket seats make long trips uncomfortable, was highly overpriced (an equivalent Buick Century or Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser wagon in 1994 would have been much better) for less money.
