"Overall long life w/few problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I've had this car I've had to replace the tires at 203,000. Also, replaced the front tie bar and joint, timing belt, tensioners, water pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, rotor, and distributor. One other problem that I don't have narrowed down yet is that it hesitates and almost stumbles upon acceleration.
I have to add a quart of oil every two weeks. The manual even says to do this.
I took the car to Florida from Ohio and it ran great! Excellent gas mileage..32-38 highway.
The driver's seat is very bad on my back. The seat is sagging and causing my bum to sink into the crevice.
Overall, the engine is great. I think I can get it up to 250,000 miles. Hopefully 300k!
General comments?
There is one more problem; the entire underbody is rusting out. I will probably have to junk it after this winter. Too bad it was rust proofed earlier in it's life.
