1992 Toyota Camry LE review from North America
"A reliable, comfortable family car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I find the stereo is a little bit weak. The sound quality is OK, but is certainly nothing special.
2002 - Had the wheels redone; they started to pit a little bit.
2003 - Replaced some front-end suspension components; minor repairs.
General comments?
This car is a tank, plain and simple.
It handles very well, and has decent power (a fantastic 4 cylinder engine and smooth shifting transmission). On the highway the car performs at an average level, so if you're looking for blazing performance, look elsewhere.
This car is very comfortable, and has proven to be extreamly reliable and cheap to maintain. I am very impressed with the quality compared to similar American cars (and I have owned a few).
I take very good care of my vehicles, and drive them often, and people often ask me if my Camry is brand new. This means a lot to me, and shows that Toyota has fit and finish down to a science.
