1988 Toyota Camry DX review from North America
"ULTRA RELIABLE, UN BREAKABLE, BEST BANG for the BUCK EVER"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The front wheel bearings wore out at 170,000 miles .. cost me 200 parts and labor
Could use more power and torque.
General comments?
Ultra Reliable.. 183,000 and going STRONG.
NO LEAKS AT ALL, A/C Still COLD, NOT a RATTLE or Squeal.
45 mpg on Freeway.. have been to LA to FL twice in the hot SUMMER.. No PROBLEMS at all..
SILKY SMOOTH engine and 5 Speed transmission.
CAR actually flies above 70 mph all the way to 110 mph..
Just change the oil and filter every 4000 miles (use Castrol 10w/30 semi-synthetic), change spark plugs and air fliter once a year.. that's all..
