1996 Toyota Camry Coupe LE review from North America

Only exceptions was standard O2 Sensor (1 of the 2) and the ol rotor issue where Toyota says ground to spec.'s and independent said they were ground below spec.

Car equipped with leather, some slight separation you'll want to look for as vehicle ages, yet still outstanding in feel, durability, comfort.

Sunroof button liked to not engage, then nor would o/h lights. A simple tap would take care of it.

Lacked the rear wing as only option, and when trunk opened, water had tendency to roll down very back lid into rear.

Prev. owner had power antenna problem,

yet do not recall any REAL problems.

They had performed the TOYOTA maint.

We had all receipts with purchase.

This was a V6 LE Coupe (2 Door), and fully loaded Leather, Roof, Power, 3 Disk in dash CD. Paid $8800 and put 13000 Miles + tires and sold for $8000 some 18+ months later. Black with Tan Int.

This year of Camry, COUPE is light, and very quick/fast with V6. Speedo goes to 140, and it Will do it! Live in Iowa, bought in Dallas, test drive on highway to 120 fast. I've owned Pontiac's, from 1970 Firebird, 72 Lemans GT, newer Grand Prix, and our last 88 Grand Am with 170,000 miles. Wife wanted a Camry, and so she got it. We LOVED it, only sold for family purpose with 2 kids and us in a 2-door, and used $ equity to remodel bath.

Most comfortable car EVER owned. The car felt like riding on rails, very responsive and tight. Truely Missed.

V6 in Coupe Very Fast, quick, quiet, ultra smooth, and consistent 29 mpg on highway during trips.
