1989 Toyota Camry LE review from North America
"Strong, reliable and fun to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Original Alternator finally quit at 330,000km.
I replaced all struts at 290,000km
but I tow a small sail boat and probably abused the suspension a little.
All other costs have been regular maintenance items such as brakes and CV boots.
General comments?
This is an awesome car, a strong drive train and the most reliable car I have ever driven. It is aging well and may need some suspension work and a clutch in the near future. I will probably fix and drive this car and until it breathes or I breath my last breath which ever comes first.
