1990 Toyota Camry DX review from North America
"Very reliable, economic, pretty comfy, not sporty"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In year 2004:
replaced alternator for $200;
leak in radiator, get it replaced for $150;
there was brake fluid leakage in rear wheels, get it replaced for $150;
In year 2003:
parking brake cable seized, get the cable replaced for $200;
In year 2000-2003, nothing went wrong.
Yeah, that is it.
General comments?
It is pretty reliable, for a car more than 10 years old and more than 130k miles, not a lot of things went wrong.
The engine is not strong enough, accelerates pretty slow.
Very economic, get 33mpg on high way easily.
Smooth ride, mid size car, pretty roomy.
Rust pretty easily,
