1990 Toyota Camry review from North America
"I am pleased with the overall performance and appearance of this 15 year old car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine was hesitating upon first being driven in the day if the car had not been driven for approximately 8 hours. Ifigured this out by trial and error over a period of a few months. No computer or other parts were found to be bad and computer was taken apart, cleaned and a few slightly loose connections tightened. Car has been running easily since then with no hesitation problems.
General comments?
It has a smoother ride than the 2005 Honda Civic!
2.1 liter engine is quick on speed pick-up for an older car and is able to climb quickly up a hill to 55-60 mph from a stop.
No major repairs other than hesitation problem.
Body paint and interior upholstery and dash still in excellent original condition. I have many comments on the appearance of the car.
I'll probably drive this 15 year-old car until it quits!
