1986 Toyota Camry review from North America
"A great first car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The following things needed to be done in order for my car to pass the Ontario safety test so I could register it in 2005 (I don't think much else has been replaced on the car since manufacture) :
Front brake pads & rotors worn out.
Rear struts were shot.
Passenger side ball joint was cracked.
Hole in floor from previous owner driving over a rock (fixed with sheet metal, rivets, and tar)
General comments?
This is my first car, and I have to say for 400$ it was well worth it.
Great gas mileage from what I can tell.
Has a very comfortable interior with lots of room for four people with a nicely sized trunk as well.
My two favorite features that still work are the cruise control and fuel economy selector.
