1990 Toyota Camry LE review from North America
""No wonder it is the best selling car in North America""
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well not much, I had to replace the sending unit, wheel bearing, cap and wires and a blower motor for the heater. There has not been a whole lot done to the car for repairs, its pretty solid. I do have all service records dated back to 1990.
General comments?
It is my first car, and "no I did not get it from my parents", I actually bought it from my neighbour, and for a first car, it was the best move I ever made.
The car is actually quite fast for its age, acceleration is well above average, handling very responsive and with disc and drum brakes braking is actually impressive. The automatic trans with ect select button or "power button" as I call it shifts through the gears pretty whell. Even at 115hp it still can exceed limits of 175 kms.
