1995 Toyota Camry LX review from North America
"Find another"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Interior wears prematurely for a 150 lb guy.
Clutch burnt up at 10,000 (I didn't drag race it)
Right front piece of transaxel replaced 15,000.
Head gasket blown 41,000.
All the usual wearable parts, tires, brakes...
General comments?
I thought I was getting an econonmy car for getting to work so I could not use my offroad truck for commuting. But I was wrong. This stupid little camry has taken a good chunk of money to keep on the road.
Performance is okay, but it's an economy car so... Interior is alright, wears to fast though. The car overall is kinda bland and good for commuting that's it.
However, I didn't baby this car nor did I skip on maintainance. I did oil changes every 3,000. Kept all fluids in check. Everything I thought would keep it in good condition. But I was wrong and this car failed me. Simple as that.
