1996 Toyota Camry LE review from North America
"I like it so much that I would never want to have anything but a Toyota"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The head gasket was replaced after 85,000 miles.
I had a complete new engine dropped shortly afterward. I was told by a Toyota dealership that the previous owner hadn't used the right type of oil, or had not changed it frequently.
General comments?
I love everything about my 1996 Toyota Camry, and even though I admire the new 2006 model, I will keep mine since I have a one year old engine in it. I cannot think of anything that I don't like about it, since it is comfortable and handles well, and requires very little maintenance compared to the previous cars that I have owned.
