This car motto should be dull is good. It does everything quite well just low key.
It's a good car to take the family on a long trip.
It has a large trunk.
The v-6 has more than enough power. It just doesn't have the suspension to back it up.
The biggest complaint is the seats. Too flat and lack bolstering
The resale value on this car is pretty good. You really can't say that with the us brands.
And yes the Taurus and Lumina/Malibu are not vanilla at all and give the consumer all the pleasure of speed and pepper of this world.
Speed and pepper... Sound like heartburn and gas.
The Camry is definitely one very boring car, with nothing in the way of style or performance. In addition, recent Toyotas seem to be plagued with an astounding number of pretty major problems. I'd opt for virtually ANY used domestic over a Camry.
But not this one and it still does not change my opinion about Toyota. We bought it because its it a great car and still has some resale value unlike a Ford or GM product.
Hi
Just wanted to post that I hit the 200k mark. Still running strong.
I just had the valve cover gasket replace, oil sending unit and coolant temp. sensor replaced.
Check engine light came on and had to replace 2 oxygen sensors. The car is now at 210k.
