1994 Toyota Carina GLi Estate review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent, reliable second hand value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear number plate lamp bulb failed, but screws holding assembly rusted so bulb and assembly replaced.
Drivers door electric window is getting "tired", suspect motor needs replacing.
General comments?
This has been a superb car. I am 6' 4" tall and have enough head and legroom. The car can carry four adults easily and four sets of golf clubs.
It performs well even compared to the Saab I had previously, OK so it doesn't set the world alight, but it surprises a lot of other drivers.
It sails through MOT tests and starts first time every time.
The auto box is a delight and the ECD setting means getting away from the lights is a blast.
I have every intention of seeing the thing into 200k miles.
