1982 Toyota Celica RA60 review from Australia and New Zealand
"The best car ever!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has ever gone wrong with my car, the only parts I have replaced are the spark plugs and leads, even though it didn't need it.
General comments?
I have had this car for 3-4 years now. I knew the previous owner, and he thrashed the hell out of it, and never maintained it. I bought it from him for $500 and have had it since.
I had to replace the diff center and the left hand axle, because I drove it into a gutter at 90kmph around a corner. So it's my fault.
I have thrashed the hell out of this car, because at first I only bought it because I hated it and wanted a car I could beat on, then I started to like it, and now I love it and will never get rid of my beast.
I decided that when the engine goes, I will do an engine conversion from the 21rc to a 1GGTE, that never happened though because it just refuses to die. I gave it hell every day, every minute I drove it, and it still goes.
The best car I have ever had, and will ever have.
