1991 Toyota Celica GT4 review from Australia and New Zealand
"A little like a high maintenance women, but when running well delivers a lot of pleasure"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Leaking waterpump caused a seized engine, 2 radiators, reconditioned heater core, new clutch, new drive belt after the original snapped. blown a few hoses as the cooling system runs at high pressure.
General comments?
The GT4 is awesome in the wet and with a powerchip, octane additive, larger exhaust and a high flow airfilter is also extremely quick overtaking. Unfortunately the car is showing it's age and pumping out around 190kw up from standard 153kw I think it's wearing out. The strutts are rattling a bit and I'm affraid the turbo might go and I don't really want to fork out more money to keep it on the road.
